Desde que chegaram uma das principais tarefas dos voluntários do projeto ENVIE, do parceiro Parcours le Monde - Léa Ripoche, Léa Suella, Leny Degoul e Yoan Descantes -, tem sido a Quinta das Lamas, em Vouzela. Leiam o testemunho deles abaixo:
"O que é que fizemos na Quinta das Lamas? Fomos lá muitas vezes quando não havia atividades específicas planeadas. Começámos por descascar acácias porque são muitas. Depois, por vezes, usámos o iNaturalist para listar todas as espécies presentes no terreno. E, quando não encontrámos mais acácias para fazer (ainda havia algumas, claro, mas ou eram muito finas ou estavam muito juntas), decidimos abrir um caminho para subir um pouco mais e encontrar ainda mais acácias. Também arrancámos algumas Bidens frondosa, uma espécie invasora que pode ser facilmente arrancada com um pequeno puxão. Conseguimos identificar muitas espécies diferentes de fungos no campo, o que foi muito interessante!"

"What did we do at Quinta das Lamas? We often went there when there were no specific activities planned. We started by debark acacias because there are so many of them. Then we sometimes used iNaturalist to list all the species present on the land. And, when we couldn't find any more acacias to do (there were still some, of course, but they were either too thin or too tightly packed together), we decided to open a path to climb a little higher and find even more acacias. We also pulled up some Bidens frondosa, an invasive species that can easily be pulled up with a little tugging. We were able to identify lots of different species of fungi in the field, which was really interesting!"
