Voluntários Parcours le Monde: terceira semana de fevereiro

Os voluntários do projeto ENVIE, do parceiro Parcours le Monde, continuam a apoiar a MONTIS. Eles deixam aqui o seu testemunho sobre o trabalho desenvolvido durante a terceira semana de fevereiro.

Volunteers from Parcours le Monde's ENVIE project continue to support MONTIS. Here they give their testimony of the work done during the third week of February.

"Para começar a semana, na segunda-feira de manhã, o Valentin e o Antoine foram para a frente da Câmara Municipal para cortar ramos que serão utilizados mais tarde como estacas, marcando as árvores plantadas. Depois, levaram-nos para o gabinete da MONTIS."

"To start the week, on Monday morning, Valentin and Antoine went in front of the town hall to cut sticks which will be used later as stakes, marking the planted trees. Then they took them back to the Montis Office." 

"À tarde, o Valentin e o Antoine fizeram o resumo da semana passada em casa. A Lomane continuou a sua tarefa de consultar o website da MONTIS e de assinalar problemas como incoerências com a versão em inglês."

"In the afternoon, Valentin and Antoine did last week’s summary at home. Lomane continued her task of looking at the MONTIS website and reporting problems such as inconsistencies with the English side." 

"Na terça-feira, a Lomane e o Valentin deixaram Vouzela às 6 da manhã com o João para o ajudar durante todo o dia, para organizar um evento de plantação numa área perto de Lisboa com outros parceiros e 50 pessoas para plantar" (voluntariado corporativo com a EDP Global Solutions). "Os seus objectivos eram principalmente explicar-lhes como plantar, monitorizar o seu trabalho e servir-lhes comida e bebida. Relativamente à comida e bebida, serviram café, pequenos doces, especialidades de Vouzela e frutas. Os 50 voluntários estavam tão motivados e foram tão eficientes que o evento durou muito menos tempo do que o previsto! Entretanto, o Antoine acabou de cortar os ramos para estacas (em dois dias, um total de 247)."

"On Tuesday, Lomane and Valentin left Vouzela at 6 a.m with João to help him all day, to organize a planting event to an area near Lisbon with other partners and 50 people for planting. Their objectives were mainly to explain to them how to plant, monitor their work and serve them food and drink. About serving them food and drinks, they served coffee, pastries, Vouzela specialities and fruits. The 50 volunteers were so motivated and efficient that the event lasted much less time than expected! Meanwhile, Antoine finished making the sticks (over two days, a total of 247)."

"Na quarta-feira de manhã, o Valentin e o Antoine pintaram todas as estacas, que cortaram, no escritório da MONTIS. À tarde, fomos à Quinta das Lamas para descascar as acácias, fizemos um total de 13 acácias."

"On Wednesday morning, Valentin and Antoine painted all the sticks they did at the Montis office. In the afternoon, we went to Quinta das Lamas to debark the acacias, we did a total of 13 acacias."

"Na quinta-feira, o Valentin trabalhou o dia todo num documento para futuros voluntários e o Antoine continuou a completar o inventário" (dos itens da MONTIS armazenados na garagem) " no Google Drive."

"On Thursday, Valentin worked all day on a document concerning the objectives of MONTIS and Quinta das Lamas and Antoine continued to complete the inventory on Google drive."

"No final da semana, na sexta-feira, o Valentin continuou a completar o inventário na tabela Excel, acrescentando fotografias e corrigindo alguns elementos. Ainda não está terminado, mas está a progredir bem."

"At the end of the week, on Friday, Valentin continued to complete the inventory on the Excel table, adding photos and correcting certain elements. It's not finished yet, but it's progressing well."
