The volunteers from the project ENVIE, from partner Parcours le Monde, continue to support MONTIS. Here they give their testimony about the work carried out during the first week of March.

"Na segunda-feira, fomos à Quinta das Lamas descascar acácias, com a humidade (choveu na véspera, as temperaturas baixaram e o nível de humidade estava relativamente elevado) descascar foi um pouco mais complicado do que o habitual mas correu tudo bem.”
“On Monday, we went to Quinta das Lamas to peel acacias, with the humidity (as it rained the day before, the temperatures dropped, and the humidity level was relatively high) peeling was a bit more complicated than usual but everything went well.”
"Por seu lado, a Lomane reescreveu e colocou por ordem alfabética de nome comum as plantas listadas num dos guias de voluntariado, a listagem por nomes científicos era difícil para as pessoas que não estavam familiarizadas com elas".
“On her side, Lomane has rewritten and alphabetized the plants listed in one of the volunteer guides, which was difficult for people not familiar with.”
"Na terça-feira, fomos para a Quinta das Lamas, o dia foi como na segunda-feira. Por causa da humidade, o descasque também foi bastante complicado, mas correu tudo bem."
“On Tuesday, we went to Quinta das Lamas, the day was like Monday. Because of the humility, the peeling was also quite complicated, but everything went well.”
Na quarta-feira, foi uma manhã de acácias, tudo correu bem, ainda com humidade, mas ainda capaz de ser eficaz. À tarde a missão era limpar a loiça para sábado termos loiça limpa para o almoço."
“On Wednesday, it was a morning of acacia, everything went well, still with moisture, but still able to be effective. In the afternoon the mission was to clean the dishes for Saturday to have clean lids for lunch.”

Consiste em escrever as informações gerais que lhes serão úteis mais tarde, tais como onde e quando foi criado, os planos ao longo do tempo, as missões dos voluntários, mas também a flora que lá existe.”
“On Thursday, we started writing a volunteer guide for the Baldio de Carvalhais property. It consists in writing down the general information that would be useful to them later, such as where and when it was created, the plans over time, the missions of the volunteers, but also the flora that is there.”
"Na sexta-feira de manhã fizemos as acácias na Quinta das Lamas, correu tudo bem e conseguimos ser bastante produtivos."

“On Friday morning we made the acacias at Quinta das Lamas, everything went well and we were able to be quite productive.”
“In the afternoon, Lomane continued to write volunteer guide for Baldio de Carvalhais property, similar to that of Quinta das Lamas in the office of MONTIS.”
"No sábado, 9 de março, o Antoine e o Valentin acompanharam o João durante uma atividade MONTIS com mais duas pessoas. Antes da chegada dos outros, montámos uma espécie de tenda para podermos colocar uma mesa para comer e para nos protegermos do mau tempo. Quando eles chegaram, o Antoine ficou na tenda por causa das dores no braço e encarregou-se de preparar o café e o almoço.
Durante este tempo, João, Valentin e as outras duas pessoas foram plantar na propriedade MONTIS. O terreno não era complicado de cavar, mas o tempo nem sempre foi bom, até começou a chover granizo. No final do dia, fomos verificar um edifício onde iriam viver outros voluntários que chegariam em abril."
“On Saturday, March 9th, Antoine, and Valentin accompanied João during a MONTIS activity with two other people. Before the others arrived, we set up a sort of tent so that we could put a table there to eat and protect ourselves from the bad weather. Once they arrived, Antoine stayed at the tent because of his arm pain, and took care of preparing coffee and lunch.
During this time, João, Valentin and the two other people went to plant on the MONTIS property. The ground was not complicated to dig, but the weather was not always good, it even started to hail. At the end of the day, we went to check a building where other volunteers arriving in April would live.”
