Lisett was our second long‑term volunteer. She was with MONTIS from January 19th until she left us on May 1st. Read below the testimony of this incredible volunteer who spent three and a half months supporting MONTIS!

Todas as palavras parecem pequenas demais para descrever o quão grata estou por esta experiência de voluntariado. Recebi exatamente tudo o que precisava desta jornada — uma mudança na minha rotina diária, tempo para mim própria para pensar no que quero fazer no futuro, aprender coisas novas sobre mim, aprender sobre a natureza, conhecer novas pessoas e partilhar o nosso amor pela vida, e deixar para trás uma marca positiva de mim. Esta foi uma experiência tão enriquecedora de tantas maneiras.
Também gostaria de agradecer a toda a gente da MONTIS, especialmente aos técnicos. Obrigada por serem pessoas tão simples, genuínas e porreiras, tanto nos momentos fáceis como nos difíceis. Sei, com toda a certeza, que teria tido uma experiência totalmente diferente sem vocês.

All the words seem so small to describe how grateful I truly am for this volunteering experience. I got exactly everything I needed from this journey - a change from my everyday routine, time for myself to think about what I want to do in the future, learn new things about myself and learn the nature, meet new people and share our love for life with each other and to leave behind a positive mark of myself. This has been such an enriching experience in so many ways.
I would also like to thank everyone in MONTIS especially the technicians. Thank you for being so down to Earth and cool people through the easy and difficult. I know for a fact that I would have had a totally different experience without you guys.
Thank you for being kind and passionate, thank you for being who you are. :)
