Ela vai estar a ajudar-nos durante vários meses, a apoiar as atividades de conservação da natureza. Abaixo fiquem a conhecê-la melhor! (como tem sido hábito com os nossos voluntários, ela fez a tradução dos seus textos para português, uma vez que vai tentar aprender um pouco do idioma).
We welcome Lisett, our new MONTIS volunteer coming from Estonia, through our new partner EstYES. She will be helping us for several months, supporting nature conservation activities. Get to know her better below! (as usual with our volunteers, she translated her texts into Portuguese, as she will be trying to learn the language).
Olá! Sou a Lisett, tenho 20 anos e sou de Viljandi, Estónia. Acabei o secundário agora e decidi tirar um gap year para explorar os meus interesses, ver o mundo e deixar uma marca positiva antes de concorrer para a universidade. Com isto, o vento trouxe-me aqui.
Os meus objetivos como voluntária são ajudar a natureza e ao mesmo tempo aprender mais sobre ela. Sempre gostei de estar na natureza, por isso considerei a ideia de estudar alguma coisa relacionada com a proteção do ambiente na universidade, mas como tudo o resto na minha vida neste ponto estou hesitante. Espero que no fim deste projeto tenha a confirmação que sempre precisei.
Quero agradecer à MONTIS por me dar esta oportunidade perfeita para aprender mais sobre mim e os meus interesses, para fazer alguma coisa que eu adoro e fazer novas memórias incríveis!
Hi! I´m Lisett, I´m 20 and I am from Viljandi, Estonia. I just finished Gymnasium and decided to take a gap year to further explore my interests, see the world and to leave behind a positive mark before applying and committing to university. With that, the winds have led me here.
My goals here as a volunteer are to help nature and at the same time to learn more about it. I have always loved being out in nature, so I have considered the idea of studying something related to environmental protection in university but as with everything else at this point in my life - I´m hesitating. I hope that at the end of this project I will have myself the confirmation I´ve always needed.
I want to thank MONTIS for giving me this perfect opportunity to learn more about myself and my interests, to do something I love and make new awesome memories!
